Frequent asked questions

Do you guarantee delivery to foreign countries?
There are many different custom restrictions in other countries, mainly in Australia. I am not familiar with your specific country's restrictions and can't guarantee your seed to get delivered. International customers are responsible for all customs restrictions for their own country! Please be aware of the regulations in your country before you buy. Orders are sent at buyer's risk. In case of doubts, please call your custom and ask them.

What if my seeds don't germinate? Do you give a refund?
Seed is a live product which depends on many important related grower skills such as proper planting time, seed depth, type of soil, watering, proper use of fertilizers, weed controls, fungicides, insecticides, disease free soil, and reasonable weather conditions during the growing period. Germination is affected by such factors as temperature, moisture content, light intensity and contamination of planting media. These factors are totally out of the seller's control and are the buyer's responsibility and risk. Consequentally, the seller cannot unconditionally guarantee seed to perform properly regardless of conditions or the buyer's methods or mistakes.

Do tropical seeds need special soil types?
If the special soil type for your seeds is not mentioned in my sowing instructions, all seeds should be grown in well draining types of soil. One of the most common growing problems is failure due to the use of standard potting soil. It is usually very dark-black soil that has been cooked (sterilized) at 180 degrees and has no components with value. I refer to it as dead soil since it is so dense that it is similar to clay in its ability to retain water when wet and disallow oxygen to flow through it. highly recommend, that you would use soil MIXES - Soil that has a MIXTURE of different components such as sand, some peat, perlite, or any components that create a soil that is more airy. Please consider switching to SOIL MIXES if you have been using standard potting soil.

Do you send sowing instructions for my seeds?
To keep the costs for you as low as possible, I provide a sowing instruction page in my store. It benefits both parties when I don't send printed matter with your seeds. You can easily bookmark this page and call it up, whenever you need it. Just go to the homepage and access the sowing instructions from there

How do my seeds get packaged when I buy multiple quantities of the same seeds?
They will get packaged together in one plastic baggy. This keeps the S&H costs down and I am able to offer a low flatrate for unlimited packages purchased.

How safe is my private information?
Your privacy is very important to us and your address and email will never be shared with any third party.
