This is a dwarf (grows 5 feet tall) ornamental banana plant with lush
green foliage, featuring a striking burgundy midrib. It is an
exceptional quick grower with bright pink blooms followed by inedible
pink bananas in summer, once plants are established. Makes a tropical
look in beds and containers. During summer plants can be stood outside or planted into
the border but will need frost protection in winter. Makes a perfect
container plant in a greenhouse.
