Native to southern Europe, English Wallflower is a very fragrant perennial that is often grown as a biennial or annual in colder climates. Its red/bronze flowers work well in beds and borders, as well as in pots or the rock garden. These make excellent cut flowers and are delightful for its fragrance and rich colors in bouquets.

RED ENGLISH WALL FLOWER Cheiranthus cheiri is hardy to zones 5 to 9 but may be grown as an annual in colder zones. It grows about 18" high with a 12" spread and because of its compact foliage, it is similar to a small shrub. It will grow well in full sun to light shade and will bloom first year from seed if started early. Very easy to grow from seed.
