DATURA METEL triple yellow Devil's trumpet

rare and so pretty

$ 5.00          Back to homepage

Seed count

Quantity:

A mature shrub may reach 4-6 feet hight. Blooms are seen from late spring through fall. The triple yellow is extremly fragant, especially in the evening hours. May sport 100-200 flowers simultaneously - an extremely dramatic display. The devil's trumpet is self seeding. In climates zone 1-7 where it's not hardy, start in fall to plant your seeds for next spring. Plant in full sun to partial shade in most soils. Provide some wind protection so as not to spoil the flowers. This shrub is best planted as a free standing specimen to show off the blooms without crowding from other plants. Water to establish, then the devil's trumpet is normally carefree. Protect from frost to be sure of success. This devil trumpet is a triple bloom, the most beautiful trumpets of all. Blooms are 12".

All parts of this plant are toxic, if ingested.
